Piagge Farmhouse

Farmhouse located in the countryside behind Fano, about 16 km from the beaches of the Adriatic Coast, nestled in the hills.

Expertly restored, the brick farmhouse was rebuilt in accordance with allanti-seismic legislation and the latest insulation techniques,with thermalcladding on the walls so that the house stays cool in summer and warm in winter.

The façade of the house is beautiful, located in a very quiet area despite being less than  1 km from the village where you’ll find all the basic necessities; the gardens is entirely fenced, and the swimming pool is nearby.

Ground Floor:

As soon as you enter the house you’ll find a large living room with a central fireplace, a ceiling of wooden beams with terracotta tiles, the room full of light where the colour ofthe wood and terracotta createa truly welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The next room is a large and spacious dining room, where you can entertain your friends and family over dinner. There’s a small laundry room, a guest bathroom and a very spacious kitchen-diner. Outside, the terracefacing the pool is an essential part of yournew al fresco lifestyle, caressed by the evening breeze for six months a year. From all the rooms you have direct access into the well-maintained garden, equipped with a specially designed irrigation system fed by a rainwater cistern that collectsrun-off water from the roof androadside gutters.

First Floor:

From the main entrance, a staircase leads to the upper floor where there are three bright and spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with shower. The master bedroom has the largest bathroom, with both a shower and bath, as well as a walk-in wardrobe. In the corridors leading to the other rooms there are built-in wardrobes made by a local carpenter. The relaxing view from the windows is that of the beautiful surrounding countryside.

The roof has been completely thermally insulated.

The swimming pool measures 10m x 5m, in mosaic tiles, complete with sea-themed decor and Roman steps; the poolside lounging area isremarkably large and extremely welcoming.

This beautiful corner of the Marche is about 20 minutes’ drive from both Fano and Senigallia, both popular and well-organised tourist destinations, alive with events not only in summer, but also in winter.

The housealso isn’t far from Pesaro, from the Renaissance city of Urbino, or from Numana, Sirolo and Loreto. It’s is about 15 minutes from the A14 motorway, and about 35 minutes from Ancona airport.
