Farmhouse of the Ancient Lands Some places stay suspended in…
Whether Nemesis really exists, then we might say that this goddess compensates history for country houses in the region Marche, since she reversed completely the destiny they were fatally assigned, i.e. oblivion and decay after serving for centuries the purpose they were built for.
Several country houses (the local “Casa Colonica”) were purchased and renovated during the last thirty years with best expertise and love for beauty. They turned into stunning villas in the countryside of the region Marche, immersed into nature, where you can still enjoy livable time and an almost unchanged landscape. This is actually what happened to Farmhouse Villa Claire in Falerone.
A work of art, indeed: a mixture of outdoors and indoors wonders, including the view over the Sibillini Mountains, comfortable furniture, well-kept garden, a porch, and a swimming pool.
Farmhouse Villa Claire opens up to the large and equipped kitchen, a useful and beautiful utility room, a hall and the dining room with a large stone fireplace, the perfect place to receive your family and friends during the winter. During the summer, you can have outdoors dinners under the large stone and brick porch, where you can enjoy the view over the garden and over the Monti Azzurri in the background, with its evocative and frequently snow covered peaks.
The handmade cotto flooring deserves special notice, as well as the travertine flooring that enhances the kitchen with brightness and largeness, the desired effect that combines refinement and simplicity because the style of a country house should definitely be rural, i.e. sophisticated though lacking elaborate effects.
The wooden ceilings were kept, restored, sandblasted and treated. The windows made of clear wood offer a recall to typical European country houses; windows are double-glazed and all of them are brand new.
On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with an Ensuite bathroom (with shower).
On the first floor, there are three large and stunning bedrooms with view over the landscape and access to the “mountainview” terrace, a private place that you can use as a meditation corner whenever you need to be on your own while reading a book, though enjoying the comfort and privacy of the nearby bedroom.
Bedrooms are equipped with large bathrooms, either with bathtub and shower or with a large shower and double basins, custom-made and decorated walk-in wardrobes. Furniture is included in the price of sale.
The garden is well kept and equipped with a sprinkler system connected to a rainwater collection tank.
The flooring in the swimming pool area with solarium and barbecue is made of ancient bricks and made even more precious by a pergola used as the dining area. The walls of the swimming pool are covered in mosaic, with poolsides in travertine. The adjacent plot of land is planted with olive and fruit trees and a garden over a total surface of averagely 10.000 square meters (1 hectare).
The outbuilding could be turned into a smaller house with a bedroom and bathroom.
Farmhouse Villa Claire covers a surface of 303 square meters, the porch and terrace cover a surface of 80 square meters and the outbuilding is 20 square meters.
Further features: mechanical gate, well-kept road, Energy Class F.
