The river flowing through the gorge is also very evocative and rafting competitions are often held here. The Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grotte, built by Valadier, is also stunning, and can be reached via an enchanting walk. We are also near Arcevia and Sassoferrato, the whole area is extremely lush and verdant, encouraging wellbeing and communion with nature.
