A farmhouse in Cingoli, in a hilly position, converted into a country house with swimming pool in the rolling hillsides outside Filottrano. A marvellous view sweeping from Loreto to Recanati to Treia and the Sibillini Mountains in the distance, where you can also make out the Gran Sasso and then Cingoli and Filottrano. The access road is easy to reach from Jesi and the airport, fifteen minutes from Cingoli and Filottrano, twenty-five minutes from Macerata and thirty-five minutes from the Conero.

The property comprises three buildings:

1. a) The main house, built on two levels, has a breakfast room on the ground floor, painted in pastel colours and with furniture that reflects the skill of blending different styles and artistic approaches, everything is carefully thought through, down to the smallest detail, as is the apparent chaos. The property is currently inhabited all year round.

Still on the ground floor is a study, a professional kitchen, a utility bathroom and a guest bathroom.

We are now on the first floor, where we are greeted by a beautiful living room, a winter reading nook where guests can relax and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, a corridor leading to five beautiful bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Here too, the style of the rooms is varied and eclectic, reflecting the cosmopolitan personality of the current owners.

1. b) The former barn: on the ground floor is a large storage space, a garage for two cars, a room for the differently-abled with an independent entrance, and then another entrance to access the upper floor where there are three more double rooms each with their own bathroom.
2. c) The small house: the owners’ living space on the ground floor, a comfortable living zone with an enclosed terrace (jardin d’hiver), a bathroom in the basement and two bedrooms, one of which has its own bathroom.

Outside, there is ample space for parking, a well-kept garden and a beautiful swimming pool with solarium from which one can admire the beautiful surrounding countryside.

A few words concerning Cingoli: the area was part of the Picenum at the dawn of the Roman Empire, which Augustus classified as Regio V. In fact, nearby, the ancient San Vittore, also known as Planina, still retains Roman remains, particularly inside the present-day Badia (abbey) located near the river. Over the centuries, Cingoli has always been appreciated for its mild temperatures, especially in summer. Cingoli is a small town with a beautiful old town centre, surrounded by a dense forest. There are bars, shops, restaurants. The churches and the Piazza del Comune are particularly attractive, with beautiful passageways under the arches. The town is known as The Balcony of Le Marche, because from its ramparts you can indeed see the whole region as far as the Adriatic Sea.
