Ook stilte, waarin u zich niet alleen voelt, omdat het huis en zijn omgeving er zijn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dit alles en nog veel meer betekent wonen op het platteland. Om de waarde voor de gezondheid te begrijpen, hoeft u geen wetenschappelijke studies te analyseren, hoewel die bestaan en bevestigen dat het een goede keuze kan zijn voor lichamelijk en geestelijk welzijn. Laten we bekijken waarom.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wonen op het platteland: minder luchtvervuiling, minder stress<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wanneer we mensen ontmoeten die op het platteland wonen, valt op dat ze <\/span><b>minder gestrest<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> lijken. Zelfs hun bewegingen zijn rustiger, zonder dat zij hun taken minder snel uitvoeren. Ze glimlachen meer, met hun gezicht en ogen: iets wat moeilijk te beschrijven maar goed te voelen is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De <\/span><b>vervuiling ligt aanzienlijk lager<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> op het platteland dan in de stad, vooral wanneer u daar in een gebied woont dat voor auto\u2019s toegankelijk is, zoals meestal het geval is, of zelfs bij een fabriek of belangrijke verkeersader. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dit zijn factoren met grotere gezondheidsrisico\u2019s, van de conditie van huid en haar tot, in extreme omstandigheden, de kans op <\/span><b>kanker<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Volgens een Britse studie is dat risico <\/span><b>op het platteland 29% lager<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De voordelen voor de gezondheid<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Naast het voorkomen van kanker en de gezondheid van huid en inwendige organen is er ook een <\/span><b>kleinere neiging tot obesitas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Mensen op het platteland zijn actiever: ze wandelen, onderhouden de tuin en doen de vele kleine werkzaamheden die een huis vraagt. En niet minder belangrijk: ze zijn geneigd <\/span><b>beter te eten<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dat komt doordat zij veel gebruikmaken van <\/span><b>producten uit hun eigen moestuin, zonder transportkilometers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, of van boeren uit de omgeving. Ook dat contact is oprecht en hartverwarmend. Zulke levensmiddelen geven het gehemelte meer voldoening. Probeer maar eens eenvoudige pasta met een verse saus van pas geplukte tomaten\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zelfs de <\/span><b>Universiteit van Harvard<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> heeft zich hierover uitgesproken. De onderzoekers stelden vast dat <\/span><b>de sterfte onder inwoners van grote steden 12% hoger ligt<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dan onder mensen op het platteland. Volgens een studie van Oregon State University helpt <\/span><b>het platteland ons te glimlachen<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, al na een eenvoudige excursie.
