Fiastra Farmhouse

A farmhouse for sale with swimming pool in Mogliano, averagely 17 km far from Macerata and close to the stunning estate of Abbazia di Fiastra.

The farmhouse was restored in 2010 and transformed into an awesome country house immersed in the hills of Macerata, with view over the Sibillini mountains that are usually covered in snow until the end of May.

The surrounding hills are very evocative and the city of Macerata is nearby, with its beautiful arena theater and its university. Macerata is definitely a dynamic and active city, from a cultural point of view.

The house covers a surface of 237 squaremeters on threefloors. There are fourbedrooms and threebathrooms, an open space kitchen, a sitting room and living room with a beautiful woodstove.

Ground floor: open kitchen, with view over the countryside, storage room, dining room, sitting room with woodstove, bathroom, original flooring in cotto tiles, double-glazed windows with wooden fixtures, ceilings with wooden beams and tiles.

First floor: three bedrooms, a large bathroom with bath tub and shower. The fireplace in the bathroom is just gorgeous.

The salted water in the swimming pool is heated by  solar panels (6 kWp). Its surface is 12×6 meters.

Floorings are made of original cotto tiles, the windows are double-glazed and the fixtures are in wood.

The house keeps its original charme and an ancient soul. Having large windows with checkered glass in the kitchen and in the living room, is such a good idea. The same for the fireplace in the bathroom on the first floor.

The heating and cooling system: in the bedroomsthere are 4 electrical air-conditioningunits, while in the bathroomsthere area gas radiators, and a woodstove in the living room / kitchen.

The surrounding area: the Abbazia di Fiastra is a stunning Cistercian building  from 1142, and the protected natural area covers a surface of 1800 hectares including coppice woods where you can go for a walk or ride horses, cultivated fields, protected animal areas, two water courses and a lake. It is a real green lung between Macerata and Mogliano, a joy to see, a peaceful location, where there are also two restaurants, a cafè, a rest area and a small shop with local products, and finally the stunning Abbazia in Romanesque-Gothic style.
