– Santa Maria Nuova is a village in the province of Ancona located upon a hill at 250 meters above sea level. Historically it is linked to Jesi to which it was subjected several times over the centuries. It was the area of migrations, from Lombardy and Albania but also from Jesi itself, especially in pandemic periods, because the air was healthier. The old town has a small tower, a church dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua. It has supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, restaurants and pizzerias. It is a village that does not suffer from population loss problems due to its proximity to urban centers such as Ancona and Jesi.
