A farmhouse that needs to be partially restored. It is…
60027 Osimo AN, Italia
The ancient farmhouse Villa Spada was built in the Nineteenth century and is located nearby the city Osimo and the Conero Riviera. It stands upon a hillock where you can look over the evocative surrounding landscape – between the provinces of Ancona and Macerata, so dear to poet Giacomo Leopardi – and the bells tower of Osimo and Mount Conero (actually on the seaside).
The farmhouse Villa Spada needs to be completely restored, it is a large historical building, owned by a local aristocratic family and managed by farmers under the sharecropping rules. The surface of the building is over 500 square meters, although the surface could be enlarged during the renovation works in accordance to the new owner’s will. The property could actually be turned into a guesthouse with several apartments for tourists. The house has more floors, it is beautiful and typical, you can enjoy stunning views over the countryside, the woods of ancient villas owned by local aristocrats, among them the beautiful Villa Centofinestre.
In relation to the park, there is a courtyard that covers a surface of 6000 square meters and you could build a swimming pool so that you can enjoy the beautiful summer days with family and friends overlooking the countryside and the surrounding green landscape.
The farmhouse Villa Spada is located upon the gentle hills and is surrounded by oak trees and beautiful yellow sunflowers’ fields during the summer days. The road that leads to the house is in good conditions and connected to the city of Filottrano, that is only 3 km far. The house includes a private road with olive trees and centuries’ old oak trees. In relation to the nearest towns, city Osimo and Mount Conero are 7 km far. The beautiful shores of the Adriatic Sea are 18 km far.
It is noticeable that the area is a historical location among Filottrano, Osimo, Loreto and Recanati, where several local aristocrats used to live and manage their agricultural and fertile plots of land under the rules of sharecropping with sharecrop farmers.
