This stylish country house, surrounded by vineyards and the beautiful Marche countryside close to Morro D’Alba, was completely rebuilt using the bricks and roof tiles of the original house and completed in 2007. The ground floor which is spacious and airy is open plan with a fitted kitchen/diner, a large dining room, a living room infused with natural light, an imposing entrance hall and a cloakroom. A covered pergola leads from the kitchen and dining room and this is perfect for dining in the warmer months. As the area is famous for its wine, there is also a large wine cellar. A striking staircase leads to the first floor where there are 4 double bedrooms with ceiling beams , of which 2 have en-suite bathrooms and an additional family bathroom, each with a walk in shower and Philippe Stark ceramics. The fittings throughout the house are of the highest quality with solid oak floors in all the rooms apart from the hall and staircase which are cream marble.
The separate annex comprises a large room with bathroom, an original pizza oven and a storage area for tools and garden equipment. The enclosed garden is well maintained with lawns, plants, a variety of trees including holm oak, olive and fruit and a vegetable plot.
The stunning, salt water infinity pool was designed by a pool award winning architect and is tiled throughout with sun terraces at either end.
Car parking, good access road, communal water, GPL gas, electricity, telephone and wi-fi
The house is between Morro D’Alba and San Marcello where there are bars, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, doctors, dentists, post offices and a variety of good food shops. Ancona airport is only 20 minutes away and ferries to and from Croatia, Greece and Turkey are available at Ancona port .
